Local Tales, Global Voices: Where Tradition Meets Technology

The “Local Tales, Global Voices” project aims to connect students across Europe through the power of storytelling. Participants will research folk tales from their local culture, select one meaningful story, and translate it into English. Using artificial intelligence tools, students will create illustrations and design an illustrated digital book.
Each partner school will prepare its own book, and finally, all works will be combined into a joint publication: “European Local Tales Illustrated Book.” The project promotes cultural awareness, improves language skills, develops creativity and digital literacy, and strengthens international collaboration.
The final product will be shared online and through school exhibitions, reaching both local communities and a wider European audience.
The objectives of the project include:
- Encouraging students to explore their local culture and folk stories;
- Improving English language skills through translation and storytelling;
- Fostering creativity and digital literacy through AI tools;
- Promoting intercultural understanding and collaboration among European students;
- Creating a common product: an illustrated, multilingual book.
Through this project, students not only preserve and value tradition but also learn to share it with the world, combining the art of storytelling with modern technology.
